Pastor William O. Greene Jr. is the Senior Pastor at Antioch Baptist Church located in Newport News, Virginia. He is the husband to one wife First Lady Dorothy Greene, father of two children Sharron Greene and Minister William O. Greene III and a proud grandfather to Daneska. Pastor William O. Greene holds a Master of Divinity and Bachelor of Arts in Religion.He dedicates himself to doing what is necessary to move the church forward. He has participated in diverse ministry environments for over thirty years. He has had the privilege to participate as a facilitator and leader for various conferences, workshops, and special events in and out of the area. Pastor Greene is active in the community and very concerned about the plight and conditions that we face on a daily basis as a people at large. God has charged, ordained, and commissioned him to labor in Word and in deed, to preach and teach the Word of God fervently in and out of season. He has a love for God and loves to serve people. Under Pastor Greene’s leadership, he led Antioch Baptist Church to purchase the house at 2811 Roanoke Ave. and develop it as a center for outreach Ministries. The JTC Life Changing Center a 501(c)3 non-profit corp. There have been 16 new ministries established to the need of membership. These ministries include but are not limited to, Christian Education, boys to men, girls to women, finance, administrative staff, budget, senior, praise dancers,and mime. The spiritually anointed choir, young adult choir, and the combined adult choirs were organized as well. A new member’s class was organized in addition to Bible study on Wednesdays and leadership teaching on the first and third Saturdays of each month. He is not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ and is one of God’s anointed voices for such a time as this.
